This is my Collection of Karaoke music.
I Created the various html selectors to easily select and play them.
There are presently 857 Songs in .mid extension, which are actually Karaoke files (.kar) with the extension changed.
Standard Midi Players will recognize this and play them as well.
To Play the songs with the lyrics, you need a karaoke player!
Without, you should still hear the Midi music in your midi player, but without the lyrics!
On my Computer, I Use vanBasco's Free Karaoke Player.
VanBasco's Karaoke Player 2.04 is a standard MIDI file player with full screen Karaoke display.
For IBM PCs or compatibles running Microsoft Windows.
Its interface is designed to be both efficient and easy to use.
The Lyrics are not just displayed, but are highlighted to the notes of the music!
There are no Popup ads, or adware, this free player is the real thing!
I have Used it for years and it works great!
If You Install it after any other audio players, it will automatically set up everything for you, if you let it.
When Combined with my Karaoke Players (Selectors) there is nothing better!
Select Song after song and the Karaoke player will popup and start playing the songs, with highlighting the words in tune  with the music.
There is also a lot of settings you can change, such as the size and colors of the displayed lyrics, tempo and so on.
VanBasco's Karaoke Player includes a Play list, a Control panel for the tempo, key and volume, the karaoke window, an midi output graphical window and a piano, all which are displayed by just a touch of a button on the main player.
Whichever ones you have on and the location you have them placed, will be there the next time VanBasco's Karaoke Player is used.
It is pretty Easy to use, works without any problems and and looks pretty good!

If you Install any other media players afterwards and they begin opening up for the .mid extension, all you have to do to get VanBasco's Karaoke player to run the .mid extensions again is Right mouse click on the main player, chose "Setup" from the drop down window, select the "Misc" category
and at the "Associated filetypes" click on the "Select All" button and then click on the "OK" button.

You want to keep your .mid extensions to open with your karaoke player, so that whenever you chose a song from the selector it will automatically begin playing!
The Reason I could not use the .kar extension was because I could not get a .kar extension to upload on Yahoo.
But I Use the very same method here on my computer offline and it works without any problems.

Note, I am not the Composer of the Karaoke music, they are a colletion I have built over the years and I take no credit for such!
Also, I am Not Affiliated with any organization.
I am just your average person, I first began creating this for my Granddaughter and then decided it would be nice to share with everyone!
I do Not Profit materially from this, the only thing I stand to gain is maybe a friend, or two.

Much of these karaoke music is of excellent quality!
Even if you are not Interested in singing, or hearing any other sing, just the sounds alone are worth it.
Granted a couple that do sound like they are only using two keys on a keyboard, but those are few.

My Health and living sittuation has been unfavorable these past few years, so I may, or may not be prompt in responding in emails, but I am always happy to hear from others, as long as they are not trying to scam, or sale me anything!

One more thing, I have not had the ability to create a selector that is organized into genres.
If anyone has the know how and ambition, to categorize these songs into genres, email it to me and I will create a selector credited to you and place it on the internet, alongside my other ones.
